When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

If you have not received help after three days, please post a link to your topic HERE.

Hi - I have the Priacy Protection Virus. I am trying to run some of the protocols I've found online but I can't get my Dell Insipron to boot in safe mode and the virus locks everything out. I have Malware Byte, Spybot, HJT but even those are blocked. I have tried renaming them to no avail.

I am trying to delete the program manually but all of my appdata folders are locked.

I don't see a HiJack Log there, but that's okay, we don't use it much.

I see that you missed part of Broni's instructions. That "About getting started" isn't just reading material. It's a guide that you need to follow.

Please go down to step 6 in that guide and post the logs - DDS and GMER - as a reply to your new topic. If you cannot create those logs, please post the reply and explain what happens when you try to create them.
