Adding XP to Win 7 is more complicated than adding drivers. You will need to set up an XP mode in Win7, which is a virtual operating system inside another operating system. The Microsoft set up for this requires that Win 7 Professional or Win 7 Ultimate be used to support XP Mode. Your laptop may only have Win 7 Home on it. You will also need 2G of RAM.

For Win 7 Home environment
