Thank you, Lawrence, for sharing your knowledge and that of others who have come upon and solved these malware and virus issues. I have paid for (and been refunded) so many virus protection and virus cure programs: I can't even count how many any more. The first time I found your site, I took the advice and got refunded for all of the malicious software I had already purchased (thank you for that advice). I was a network engineer for 20 years but never dealt with the desktop computers much. Networks are much easier than desktop support! I'm glad there is someone out there who will offer advice that is sound and understandable and WORKS! I'm just back online after three days of fighting System Recovery Virus. I was determined not to pay and then demand a refund -- and I found all the answers on your site.

i also want to say thank you 2 bleeping computer for all your great, helpful knowledge. my work comp keeps getting infected with trojans, malware, etc and it's super annoying. but everytime, with patience and incoherent mumbling, i'm able to get remove the viruses and stuff. it's only with your help though. thanks alot
