I have a custom built gaming pc that I put together a little over a month ago, and everything has been running silky smooth, no problems at all, until recently of course. Last night I was doing some gaming on Battlefield 3, then typed up a quick paper for one of my classes and shut it down. This morning I turned on my computer and after about 5 seconds, it freezes at a black screen with "B2" displayed at the bottom in the usual white start-up text. It refuses to even boot into the bios. I fear this might be a motherboard issue, but I wanted to get some input in before diving into the problem.
My specs are as follows:
CPU: i5 2500k (OC to 4.5)
GPU: Galaxy GTX 570
Motherboard: MSI Z68A-GD80 Gen 3
RAM:CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600

Hello, yeah it could be the motherboard, but first just start taking out components until the computer starts. You can also get a flash light and see if any capacitors are bulging or exploded on your motherboard and video card.
