I have ordered a GTX 560 ti.

The minimum requirement is 500watt PSU but will this be enough? I googled it and it seems there's different answers. I tried a watts calculator and it seems wrong as i've put my old specifications in, it gives me a different answer compared to the last time I tried it, I got 320watts last time where as now I get 500watts for my old specs.

Current Spec:

i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30Ghz
8GB RAM (2 sticks)
Msi P67A-GD53(B3) motherboard
Creative xtreme gamer sound card
2 Hard Drives
3 case fans
LCD fan & temp display
OCZ StealthXStream 500W
Gigabyte GTS 250

If Nvidia or the card maker says it needs 500W, it probably needs 500W. If your current power supply is only 500W, I would be a little concerned as power supplies lose efficiency over time and the suggested wattage of the GPU is conservative on a quality PSU.

Ok thanks, I guess I'll buy a new PSU.

Actually, that OCZ PSU isn't really a bad unit. Not overly efficient, but a decent quality unit that will push 500 watts without dying.

If it were my system, I would give it a try with that GTX560 and see how it goes. Whether the PSU has enough PCIE power connectors remains to be seen.

According to the OCZ site, it has 1 x 6pin PCI-E and if you bought the power supply in June 2008 or later then there should 1 or 2 PCI-E.
