Hello. I have been attempting to run my two graphics cards together (Geforce 9800 and Geforce 9600) but i have been told that i need a special peice to do it. When i asked about it at my local Fryes Electronics, the attendant said that they do not sell the peice, and that it should have been included with my motherboard. After searching through all the miscalanious computer pieces, i have determined that ither i threw the peice away, or it did not come with the motherboard (i use a PCI express).

So i guess the question is, Does anyone know where i can buy one?

I don't think you can run two dissimilar cards in SLI, matching models only.

Anyway, you are thinking of an SLI bridge http://www.amazon.com/Nvidia-flexible-bridge-interconnect-connector/dp/B0025VT6LQ

EDIT: If you want to run the 9800 as your primary, and the 9600 as a PhysX processor, you won't need an SLI bridge.

Hardware wise, if your using the 9600 as a physX card, like dpunisher said no you dont need anything. For setup, go herehere If you want to use it as a second graphics card in SLI, as in two cards running together, then you need either a second 9800 or a second 9600, and a SLI bridge.
