Hey there,

I know there are two separate forums for this but I thought I'd post them in the same thread and hopefully someone can help me.

Over the last couple of days, Windows Explorer keeps crashing. It will let me open up My Documents and then My Music but then when I go to click on another sub folder, it will just come up with the hourglass and not do anything. Freeze really.

Also, Firefox is crashing all the time now. As soon as I try to do anything, I get an error message up saying that "firefox.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

Hopefully someone can help me out x

What is new or different since the last time everything worked properly (ie, new hw, new sw, virus, error, etc)?

Thanks for getting back to me.

I downloaded a couple of torrents of films but I have since deleted them. Apart from that, I uninstalled some programs that I havent used in a couple of years. Thats all I can think of.

Then I'm guessing one or more of the torrents were infected. I suggest you post in the Am I Infected forum.
