When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

Supposedly, AVG 2012 got rid of it, however, I have heard that Win32/Heur can keep coming back. Is this true?

NOTE: moved from Win7 to Am I Infected.

Hello,This is possibly a False positive.

When you suspect a file was falsely detected (a false positive) or appears suspicious, then you should submit a sample to the vendor so they can investigate and take corrective action if confirmed. Please refer to:
If the file has been placed in the Virus Vault, then follow these directions:
-- Even though the instructions say if you suspect the file is clean but you still have doubts, submit anyway using this method.

You should also contact and advise the vendor that their program is being detected as a threat. In many cases they will work with the anti-virus techs in an attempt to resolve the detection.

If it is a confirmed false detection, you can restore the file from quarantine or ignore the detection until the database is corrected and no longer will detect it.
