Help
I am looking for a free stand alone virus removal tool that I can download, burn to a disk, and take to another computer. I remember downloading one from this site last year, but I forgot the name of it. Any help ould be appreciate I believe I would remember the name if I would see it again. Thanks.

Moderator,yes! it was the SUPERantispyware I was looking for. I did not know that Malwarebytes had a standalone antivirus that you could download and burn to a disc. Can you give me the location where I can downlaod this standalone version of Malwarebytes? In your opinion, which of these two are the best, or are they equally as good? Thank you for your help.

There is no official stand-alone version of Malwarebytes.

Quietman, how do you rate SUPERANTISPYWARE? I downloaded the standalone version earlier this year and burned it to a disc. Do I have to download it again to be able to get an update, or can it be updated through the disk I burned? I don't see how this could be done, but when I put the disc in I burned, it has update tab on it. I don't know how it could be updated through a disc though unless it goes into the memory. Thanks

As with most security programs, the vendors will make improvements and update versions frequently. You should always try to ensure you are using the most current version.
