When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

Thank you in advance for taking a look at my problem. About 2 1/2 weeks ago, I clicked on a link for a restaurant for a restaurant here in Philadelphia and all of sudden, the computer started acting crazy. I was getting a ton of pop-ups and any time that I would Google something, I would redirected to something else. The following day, I ended up losing all of my icons. I have not been able to successfully perform a System Restore or install Microsoft Security Essentials. My friend did something and managed to get my icons to return. He created a new profile and I am not having these problems in this new profile.

Malware Bytes shows that I have two instances of the SHarpro Trojan, as well as 4 redirectors. Any help?

Hello and welcome. May I see that log.

The log is automatically saved and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
Copy and paste the contents of that report in your next reply. Be sure to post the complete log to include the top portion which shows MBAM's database version and your operating system.

Please download MiniToolBox, save it to your desktop and run it.

Checkmark the following checkboxes:
  • Flush DNS
  • Report IE Proxy Settings
  • Reset IE Proxy Settings
  • Report FF Proxy Settings
  • Reset FF Proxy Settings
  • List content of Hosts
  • List IP configuration
  • List Winsock Entries
  • List last 10 Event Viewer log
  • List Installed Programs
  • List Users, Partitions and Memory size.
  • List Minidump Files

Click Go and post the result (Result.txt). A copy of Result.txt will be saved in the same directory the tool is run.

Note: When using "Reset FF Proxy Settings" option Firefox should be closed.
