Hello,

I am using Windows XP SP3 and I have encountered several issues: google redirect, svchost.exe taking up my entire CPU.

I downloaded Malwarebytes, and it updates fine; however, when I try running it, the program crashes upon seconds. When I try to re-run, it says that the path is invalid, etc.

I tried renaming the executable, to no avail. If anyone could help me, I would greatly appreciate it.

Can you try running it via Safe Mode with Networking? You can get there via hitting F8 after the BIOS post screen.

My work schedule is as follows: Mon and Tues 1800 to 0600, Friday - Sunday 1800EST to 0600, and Wednesday to Thursday 1800est to 0600. So if I do not respond right away I am at work.
