Hi there,

I'm facing a really weird problem. I have an Asus X5QSF notebook (the student-version of the N55SF).

Like the title pronounced: From the moment that I remove my UTP-cable from my notebook, the sound starts crackling/distorting while playing music/video's. From the moment I put the cable back in, the problem is solved.

I already tried to:
- Use a different media-player (vlc, wmp, foobar, mediamonkey)
- Update my audio drivers to several version
But the problem remains.

Any tips?
Thanks in advance!
