Guideline


This tip will eliminate the need to type www. and .com when entering a web address.


Instruction


1) Clear the address bar by:

a) Left clicking over the addresss field till the content is highlighted blue. Either start typing or backspace to clear the field.
or
b) Place the cursor at the end of the present web address and use the backspace button to delete the address.

2) Type in the body of the web address also called the URL (Uniform Resource Locator).
Example: Bleepingcomputer

3) Press and hold the Ctrl key then press the Enter key.


The results will be http://www.BleepingComputer.com
