Hello everybody

I always was a windows user. Last year I decided to buy a mac computer just to try out "the other side" and I am in love ;). It's so fast and simple to use. At the moment I never want another thing than mac computers. But on the other hand I am a total beginner. A very good friend of mine who is a total mac-follower since his birth told me that I don't need an antivirus for mac. That sounded like heaven for a former windows user. Well but last week another friend told me that there are viruses for mac and I should protect my computer. I installed a free software and started a first scan. Fortunately it didn't found anything :). I hope I do everything right with my mac but to get sure I registered here ;).

Alright enough blabla for today! I am from Switzerland and I am 21 years old (so please excuse my English grammar...)

Cheers,
Jule

Welcome to BC! I'm a Windows user myself, but I'm glad you enjoy your Mac!

There are enough Mac users here so you can be assured of help if you need it. Installing security software, even for a Mac, just makes good sense.
Thanks for joining and welcome to BC!
