What I just now noticed, however, as I went to check it again, is that MOST but NOT ALL of the file names are in blue, but SOME are still in black. What makes it even weirder is that in one folder I looked at, even just within files of the same type (i.e., with a common extension) there were most in blue but some in black. Go figure! [See attached screen shot]
It had never even occurred to me that it was possible to change the color of the typeface in Windows Explorer, let alone figure out how to do it. I find it disconcerting and strange to have this blast of blue color every time I use Windows Explorer, so I'd really appreciate it if anyone can tell me how to change the color of the file names back to black. I tried going into Tools/Folder Options to see if I could change it there, but no luck.
Any and all help in getting the type back to black will be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Al
