Hi ,
In my home PC , there is some problem in thre NIC card. In the modem ethernet green LED is not glowing.
I thought the problem was the NIC card. So I bought one new add on NIC card and installed in the PC.
Still it is not working. But thw MODEM is working when conneted to the LAPTOP.
I also update the driver for the NIC card.
I also reinstalled the OS.
I could not find what may be the problem .
If any one of u know what is the exact problem and teh solution for this . please help me.

The make/model of the NIC card would be helpful as well.
Please also confirm that you are running Windows 98 as this is the 98 forum.

Have you swapped out the ethernet cable just in case?
In the beginning there was the command line.
