2nd monitor detects but does not desplay

*please excuse typo in tittle* For what ever reason I unplugged my second monitor to plug it into my larger second monitor, after I was done I plugged back into its usual
spot, and nothing, no display. Now, this has happened before and I some how managed to fix it but I think it was on accident. I've tried
uninstalling drives, changing resolution, but nothing seems to work. Suggestions would be much appreciated.
