I've got a D2014GA DVR (digital video recorder) that I use to record video from surveillance cameras. I need to get the recorded video off of it, and into my computer. It has a standard (flat) USB port. Laptop has got the standard USB ports, plus an IEEE-1394 port, plus a few other standard ports. 1394 to USB cords EXIST, however I've read a lot of reviews from people saying that they don't work. Any suggestions on what I can use to download the files off my device?
I'm running Windows 7, if that figures in.
