When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

What a Superb program! Ran it, things better, need to verify

Gentlemen, absolutely superb piece of software! I read the caveat about not posting a log, so I won't until advised. The lowdown:
Had a version of the browser hijack bug. Downloaded malwarebytes & isolated any further intrusion. MB did not repair total problem, nor Norton Power Eraser, nor did Norton 360. Turned off router, deleted MB & Norton's, then installed previously downloaded ComboFix. Having some experience, and contacts in other forums, whom offered the ComboFix suggestion, i ran the program. So far primary problem is repaired, and I have a log ready for review. Is there someone or category to which I should post this log? Thanx in advance! JM

Hello having run ComboFix we need to see that and a DDS log.

Please go here....
Preparation Guide ,do steps 6 - 9.

Create a DDS log and post it in the new topic explained in step 9 which is here Virus, Trojan, Spyware, and Malware Removal Logs and not in this topic,thanks.
Skip the GMER step and instead post the ComboFix log you posted earlier.
