When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

I am using my laptop to contact you because I cannot connect to the internet at all on my desktop. I was running scan this AM, during scan screen went blank (totally white) since then I cannot connect to internet. I get the following:

Server Not Found

Firefox cannot find the server at www.(any page i try to connect load)

Check the address for typing errors such as
ww.example.com instead of www.example.com

If you are unable to load any pages check your computer's network connection.

If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

I cannot get to any of my anti-virus software, I cannot find any of the logs, nothing. I am running Windows XP Home Edition, Version 2002, Service pack 3.

Control panel - internet options - connections tab - lan settings button.
Make sure proxy is disabled

Also check device manager to see if it reports your drivers installed for the Internet correctly.
Whats the make/model of the system?
In the beginning there was the command line.

I disabled proxy but still same issue. when I check device manager to see if drivers are installed for Internet, what is I am looking for? I'm not sure what I am looking for. I can't even get system restore to open.
