Hi, wonder if someone can help me out, i downloaded the new vanilla chrome os to make a bootable flashdrive. all went well, i used image writer to transfer the img file to flashdrive and this completed ok, tried to boot from usb to test but the screen said no os found.
took the usb drive out to boot from windows and nothing but a flashing curser at the top left of screen.
booted the machine via mini xp from cd to investigate and in disk management it tells me drive c is healthy active not heathy system
i am running xp pro sp3 on a latitude d600
would appreciate any help

Hi, happyharry.
Can you post a screenshot of DiskManagement?
Sounds as if the wrong partition is marked as Active.
