Posted Image When posting a log please put the type of infection you have in the topic title. IE: Winfixer, Virtumonde, WinTools, WebSearch, Home Search Assistant, etc.


Posted Image Do not bump your topic. We try to resolve logs on a first come/first served basis. By bumping your log you will be pushed back in line due to the new date of your bump.

I think you can burn a Vista disk but I'm checking with colleagues just to make sure that this is a safe option at this stage in the recovery. I'm also going to have to go now, it's past 2am here. I have asked them to PM you or reply direct to the thread if they can help. This isn't normally done but I see the time issues here.

I have ordered a Restore disk from Acer. Should be here in 3-5 days.

Okay. That will solve the problem. Sometimes going to the manufacturer is the only option.
