Only members of the Malware Response Team or Moderators are allowed to help people with logs. Anyone else should refrain from posting to another user's log.

When posting a log please put the type of infection you have in the topic title. IE: Winfixer, Virtumonde, WinTools, WebSearch, Home Search Assistant, etc.

Do not bump your topic. We try to resolve logs on a first come/first served basis. By bumping your log you will be pushed back in line due to the new date of your bump.

Please download SystemLook from one of the links below and save it to your Desktop.

Download Mirror #1
Download Mirror #2

Double-click SystemLook.exe to run it.
Copy the content of the following codebox into the main textfield:

:filefind
afd.sys

Click the Look button to start the scan.
When finished, a notepad window will open with the results of the scan. Please post this log in your next reply.

Note: The log can also be found on your Desktop entitled SystemLook.txt

I want to thank you for the help you had given. Since nothing was working to restore it and I didn't have time to wait anymore, I just wiped the drive and reinstalled. I never had to do that for a virus before. Again thanks for your help and I hope you made it through Maria ok.
