Upgrade Vista 32 bit to Win 7 64 bit? Can I do this?

Was wondering if I could do a straight upgrade from Vista Home Premium 32 bit to the Win 7 "Home" 64 bit or am I stuck on the 32 bit path?

You can't upgrade from 32-bit to 64-bit.
It must be clean installation.
