So when you boot the system there is no image on the display? It's probably one of three things:
1) The display itself. Try a different one.
2) The video card - try a different one.
3) The cable(s) between the video card and the display - try different cables.

It says going to sleep mode so I assumed it was.
It's neither one nor two. I have my laptop hooked up to the display currently. The video card is integrated so I don't really know how to handle that situation; I don't have another one either.

Have you taken the side off the box and checked inside? How many fans, and what is their location? Is the fan on the the CPU heatsink spinning when you press the ON button ... and does it remain spinning until you turn off the power?
Edit: Please describe exactly what you notice happening (everything) after you press the ON button.

I have checked inside and all of the fans are spinning when the power button is pressed. The fans remain spinning until the PC is powered off.
I press the power button, and the fans spin normally. That's about it. Nothing else happens. No beeps. No image.

Disconnect all external devices, and everything that is not necessary for the computer to start.
Try unplugging/re-plugging everything: Pay particular attention to all power supply cables/connections. This will "renew" any contacts that may have become less-than-good. Any improvement?
The problem could be with either the power supply unit or the motherboard. One way to eliminate the power supply unit is to try a known good one and see if it is any different (if you don't have a spare lying about, you may need to "borrow" one, perhaps from another working computer?). The motherboard likewise ... but it is not likely that you will have access to a spare one to try, so that is more difficult to diagnose/eliminate.
