Group: Admin Posts: 31,601 Joined: 24-January 04 From: USA Member No.: 3	How to find out your IP address and other TCP/IP Settings in Windows Guide Overview This guide will teach you how to determine what your IP address is as well as other TCP/IP Settings. This guide will cover steps for all versions of Windows. Instructions for Windows 95, 98, 98SE, and ME Click on the Start button. Click on the Run menu option. In the Open: field type the following winipcfg.exe and press the OK button. When Winipcfg.exe starts it will display your IP Address, your subnet mask, and your Default Gateway. To get more information such as DNS servers and WINS server you can click on the More Info button. Instructions for Windows 2000, XP, 2003, Vista Click on the Start button. Click on the Run menu option. In the Open: field type the following cmd and press the OK button. A console window will open (black window). In the console window type ipconfig and press enter. You will now see the IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Default Gateway for each active network connection in your computer.
