I need help. I have an old windows 95 gateway. When I boot it up, it says "Disk Not Ready" error. And then it says to insert a boot disk. I did, but I couldn't access drive c: It is like it disappeared. Both the power and the connection cable are plugged in. I have to use this computer to access the Internet. Could someone help? Thanks.

You may have a bad BIOS battery. The motherboard battery. They are $5 at most department or grocrey stores. Check you BIOS to see if your hard drive shows up there. You may also have a failed drive.
