help with DDS won't open file after scan

Someone please help. I've got a virus and I'm trying to go through the preparation guide for spyware removal.

I had utorrent running and after a dds scan utorrent would open with message that it could not open the files (.txt). so I uninstalled utorrent. reintalled dds then I restarted the computer and I still cannot get the dds files to open. I click the okay button then nothing. I run a search for the files and find nothing.

I'm running windows 7
