Or use Windows built in msconfig to reduce those progs that are set to run at start up but don't need to:

Another handy little app which will monitor your startup and measure how long each takes is Soluto.
You can then decide which ones should be on delayed start.

Kingsoft PC Doctor freeware also give you an option to delay startup programs.
