In the Last couple of months my HP Photosmart C5280 has been saying scanner failure - unable to scan and copy, and if i try it just gets stuck and says busy on the mini screen on the printer. I Have no idea whats wrong with it and have tried everything such as re installing software etc but still no luck

Any Ideas ??

Thanks in advance

Have you tried unplugging it and powering it back on?

My work schedule is as follows: Mon and Tues 1800 to 0600, Friday - Sunday 1800EST to 0600, and Wednesday to Thursday 1800est to 0600. So if I do not respond right away I am at work.

1. Have you tried using the COPY feature of the printer? Try making an instantaneous copy on the printer and you'll know if the scanner works alright.

2. Have you tried connecting the printer to a different PC? Same problem?

3. Check and replace the USB cable connection from the AIO to your PC.
