Hi All,
Sorry if this is in the wrong spot. A bit of background: I'm a teacher at a small school with no IT support. Last year, we added a network hard drive so that our students could save work to a single spot, rather than clutter up a bunch of separate computers with their files. I'm using Windows 7 and am able to connect to our wireless network with no difficulty. However, I've found that since I've been connected to this networked hard drive, my computer will not shut down properly and frequently gives me a blue screen crash. I'm quite certain that the problem is due somehow to my connection to this server (I'm not even sure that's the best term for the hard drive, but that's what most of the staff here calls it) as I never have this problem on other wireless networks, and last year, when I was not connecting to it, I had no problems. Any help anyone can offer? Should I provide more info? Thanks in advance.
