Does anyone know what this file is? It is 15MB and if I do not need it, I'd like to get rid of it.

Google did not get me anywhere. The closest I had gotten was that it could maybe related to TrendMicro.

Oh and BTW I have ME.

Do you have Trend Micro? What is the path to the file, Scarlett?
Cheers,
John

Hi Scarlett

I found that file at the Trend Micro ftp site. I downloaded the zip file and it contains a readme that describes that file as "Trend Micro New Virus Pattern Release" for Sept. 7, 05. This is what you download when you do the online scan, I would think. That is safe to delete. If you decide to do an online scan again, the current file will be downloaded.
