When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

I posted this in the wrong forum first so I thought I might get better luck here.

My browser has been hijacked and I keep getting redirected to random sites.

I have had P2P programs installed before and like many others have been on certain sites that may be more likely to infect my computer.
I have uninstalled all P2P programs and am "trying" to avoid any bad sites. (I am a man after all)

I've run Malwarebytes scan. Emsisoft Scan and Microsoft' Malicious removal tool thingy but still not having any luck.

Can provide a Hijack this log if needed.

Thanks in advance.

Edit: Moved topic from Virus, Trojan, Spyware, and Malware Removal Logs to the more appropriate forum. ~ Animal

Is that the log from the scan you mentioned in your first post?

Regardless, that is an old version of MalwareBytes.

Please update MalwareBytes, run a new scan, and post the new log.

Hello,

MBAM didn't flag anything.

You say that you aren't experiencing the issue now?

Did you reboot between the first MBAM scan and this one?

Did the redirects stop after the reboot if you did?

Yes I did reboot between the scans and I have yet to have any redirects. I will give it another 24hrs, if no problems then I shall assume all is well.

Thanks
