physical memory dump

physical memory dumped, boot from cd errantly loaded new XP when trying to recover/repair old operating system. How do I get this back to original?

System manufacturer and model?

Does the system boot properly?

Do you get one option or two installs when the system first boots?

Home XP,only gives single option at boot. No sign of previous operating system

Post the exact writing which appears on the disk you used to "recover/repair" your O/S.

I repeat...system manufacturer and model? If self-built, then motherboard manufacturer?
