Can someone here PLEASE give me some help here? HP Pavilion zv6000 laptop started giving messages that the advanced features of my touchpad were disabled due to another device being used (I did nothing).

THEN

My keyboard went out. THEN my sound stopped allowing me to adjust it. I smell malware... but just dont know what to do. I've tried every malware tool I have and I was awake all night with this. I updated the driver to my touchpad and it worked fine for about 10 minutes.. now the icon is off the taskbar again and the old settings are back. i am using a portable mouse.. BUT i got my keyboard back somehow.

Can someone look at a Hijackthis log for me?? Pleaseee??

I seriously suspect malware. Media player works fine.. BUT will not allow me to increase the volume. Every time I try, the slider for the volume control keeps pushing back down.

To avoid confusion, for the member and others wishing to help, this issue is already posted in another forum and being addressed I am closing this topic.
