No Audio Device Yellow explanation points in device manager under: Sound,Video,Game co

There's Yellow explanation points in device manager under: Sound,Video,Game controllers in Device Manager
Although my problem isn't with the game controllers or video;
but it's the sound that I can't hear.
My operating system is Windows xp Proffesional.
There is no sound card, but the sound card or Multi Media connections are built into the motherboard.
Legacy Audio Drivers and SoundMax Integrated Digital Audio is listed under Sound,Video,Game controllers in DeviceManager. I tried updating the Drivers, but it says "The wizard could not find a better match than the one you already have.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that doesn't work eighther.
I could use some help. Thanks
