Problem description: I'm running xp, and I THINK that I'm having some kind of terrible malware problem (maybe attacking my boot sector?), but I'm honestly not totally certain. Basically, what happens, is that I can't boot into safe mode, because it hangs on the screen where it's loading all of the individual .sys files and such. When I boot normally, everything is fine for a while, but after I start up Fallout: New Vegas (haven't tried any other games/fullscreen apps/whatnot, but I can if it seems like it might not be a virus), after a minute or two, my fps drops to maybe .3, and a couple of system subprocesses start taking up about 9-15% of my cpu cycles. They show up in Process Explorer as stdriver32.sys, with "x(a bunch of numbers here)" at the end of it and the other, which isn't showing up right now, was a kmixer.sys, also with the x... at the end.
EDIT: I went ahead and started the 14-day Malwarebytes full trial, and shortly thereafter, it blocked some outgoing requests to a couple of servers in the Bahamas.

Don't click this, they're probably ridiculously malicious.

EDIT2: according to web of trust, they're associated with botnets. Welp.
Attempted fixes: I've run MSSE, Malwarebytesat, and SUPERAntispyware least once time each. If I suspend the process, nothing too terrible happens, and I'm able to go about my regular activities, and type this without incident, for example.

Operating system:32 bit XP.
System specs: It was home-built. Gigabyte GA-770T-USB3 mobo, AMD Athlon II X3 440 CPU, I've got a Western Digital 320GB HD that my OS is on, and a 1TB drive, whose manufacturer I forget.
I have Googled and read the FAQ: Yes, I couldn't find anything that fit my problem.
I'm about ready to borrow a friend's external HD, transfer anything important over, and then just give the other HDs zero fills, but I would really rather not do anything that drastic if I don't need to. :\
Here's a hijackthis log.
