Posted Image When posting a log please put the type of infection you have in the topic title. IE: Winfixer, Virtumonde, WinTools, WebSearch, Home Search Assistant, etc.


Posted Image Do not bump your topic. We try to resolve logs on a first come/first served basis. By bumping your log you will be pushed back in line due to the new date of your bump.

You should be able to attach a .png file to your post (check if your attachment space isn't full).

Please press F8 when you start your computer until the Advanced boot options menu comes up. Select Safe Mode and press enter. You'll see drivers rolling over the screen. What is the last one you see before the system reboots?

that was in the analysis of the failed startup repair. now it says that "startup repair has tried several times but still cannot determine cause of problem"

the machine goes there automatically. i just won't boot normally. i'm going to pull the drive to save pictures and such and just do a factory restore.

You can access all necessary data using xPUD and copy it from there if that is easier. Please let me know if you need any further help with this.

i've already pulled the drive and hooked it up externally to another machine that has 1TB drive that i use to swap things. so i think i'm ok for now. thank you so much for your help. i learned a lot.
