Well "brunt" helped me out with getting some ram for my laptop when he was here. It turned out he was nothing but a guy on crack(so to speak enough said). So I dont believe nothing he said nor do I have the records. I need to get some more ram. If it gets any slower its going to make the pc run hot! I do a lot of stuff that is power hungry for the computers memory.

Not that I dont know how to find ram in my pc. Its a (according to aida 32) INFINEON pc2100(laptop ram) 133mhz(pitiful!) Anyways my queston is what other name brands of ram will work with my ram without conflicts? Brunt said kingston I think.

I cant seem to find any infineon ram for cheep or what I need. Im going for a 512chip so later I could upgrade if needed(if I put 2 256 in there I get 512total and if needed to upgrade I have to take 1 out and get a 512 anyways but what if I want a gig?? Then the both go out!).

Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks CGM3

Go onto dells website and look at the specifications for the laptop. You also never gave us a model number so we have no real way of telling you what to get
