Skype can't hear anything in speakers cant hear ringing tone or the person im talking with.

Hello, when I use Skype and talk I cannot hear anyone out of my speakers. But when I plug my headphones in I can hear them. Why is this?

What kind of headphones do you have, and what is your sound card?

My work schedule is as follows: Mon and Tues 1800 to 0600, Friday - Sunday 1800EST to 0600, and Wednesday to Thursday 1800est to 0600. So if I do not respond right away I am at work.

I have 3 types of headphones and i dont know my soundcard. It worked fine before now it just randomly wont work.

Your sound card out might be damaged, unless you are using the same jack for your headphones or speakers.

Can you bring up dxdiag and go to the sound tab?

Your sound drivers are installed, what kind of motherboard do you have?

When headphones are out and trying to call with the speakers. The icon to the left shouldn't be there Looks like something is wrong there??

Right click on the speaker and change the playback device to what you want along with the recording device to your mic.

Can you perform the speccy please?
