Well, how about sharing your system specifications to start with?
Cards like the ATI HD6950 or the Nvidia GTX560, need good computing power (CPU/MEMORY) to work their best. If not, you're going to experience some bottlenecking.
You also need to consider how spacious your PC case is, the motherboard's capability of accommodating the card (slots) and how beefy your Power Supply is.
For instance, the HD6950 requires a 500 Watt or greater power supply with two 75W 6-pin PCI Express power connectors.
Ideally, if you have a good enough system,
this card would be a good buy for $300.
