From an old programmer (I'm talking '70s here )- to a user that like most is unaware of what is going on under the covers - a thanks to "amatuer". I stumbled across his advise to another with the same problem of W32/Blaster.worm and I was also able to sort things out. I then went on benefit from this great site, finding malware checkers such as "gmer', others and "Anti-Malware" that just found "Defender" when my std virus checker AVG did not.
Many thanks again to all you pro's.
