BleepingComputer.com: google and firefox trying to down load! IM NOT DOING IT!

I was on facebook and i was checking games and this tried to down load. something proxy chache games and some other weird words. i stopped it and it did it again.

i ran malware bytes and avira and nothing showed up. THEN my clock went back 5 hours and my sound went off. and when i opened fire fox and google back up the facebook screen was all weird. so i un installed fire fox and it working fine now, BUT im not sure if its safe???

i ran both of these in safe mode also and nothing showed up.

am i infected?? i also tried system restore (per toshiba) and it didnt work. i use windows 7

I re ran gmer, but it did the same thing as before. No report, when it got done there was nothing came up in the box. and when i clicked to save, nothing showed up in the file.

i did both of them no report showed for either, it said nothing was found. should i do it again?


now i cant turn off the pc at all. i have tried the start button and nothing happens! i can put it into sleep mode but nothing else.


and my toolbar (beside the start) doesnt have half the icon now. is there a new problem?

its a laptop, toshiba satellite. ive only had it 3 months and ive called toshiba and they had me wipe the hard drive. ( i backed up) it wasn't opening firefox at all.
