Hello,
Guys I'm Socalguy. The name tells mostly about me and where I live lol

I look forward to chatting with you guys and exposing the evil that lurks behind closed doors on the internet lol

I currently have a problem, I suspect the person I bought my laptop from or my previous landlord has set a program on my laptop because I was using his network for internet access which was included in rent. I do believe I have something hidding in my laptop because file names are being changed on me.

I just downloaded hijackthis and don't know what program are good or bad, can someone help me where to post my logg?

Socalguy

Thanks Budapest,

Where do I start finding the intruder on my computer in this forum? Where do i post in this forum for help?

I got someone changing my desktop icons such as the files I named them and adding websites to my favorites. I also notice that my yahoo logg page is changing. So where would I start on uncovering the hack? I got into "run" cmd and typed some stuff off a forum I was reading and when ever I typed in the codes to find out where the hacker was from, the cmd program shuts down on me. It post for like 3 seconds and when I try to run something especially find out where to hacker is located the cmd keeps shutting down.

I would suggest you post about your problem in the Am I Infected? Forum, since it appears that your HD may be infected in some way.
