When my daughter logs on as a user on our computer, she cannot access the local E disk drive. It works fine under my logon, but not hers. I recently had to use your instructions for removing Windows XP Recovery (which hid my files/folders, etc.) and now my daughter cannot access anything on the local E disk drive. Any assistance ("free") will be greatly appreciated.

Any error messages?
My work schedule is as follows: Mon and Tues 1800 to 0600, Friday - Sunday 1800EST to 0600, and Wednesday to Thursday 1800est to 0600. So if I do not respond right away I am at work.

Is she a limited user or an administrator? If she is a limited user and has no rights to E you need to change the NTFS permissions to allow her.

Hi .X.
In response to your question, my daughter is listed as an Administrator. Please advise as to my next steps. Also, I have another computer problem. I have Outlook Express and need it to send emails to my college professors. I keep getting error messages. Am I not connected and if I'm not, what must I do to configure Outlook Express? Thanks

To configure Outlook Express you will need to contact your ISP to get the settings.
Also right click on the E: drive go to properties then to the security tab and see whats listed. Also keep your replies to his topic.
