I plan on building an intense desktop computer built for gaming and some possible graphic design. I have always been a fan of NVIDIA and wanted to stick with their products. Looking at the different cards I wanted to get a 570, 580, or 590. The problem is that the 590's are around $700-$800, the 580's $500-$600, and the 570's around $300-$400. Is there THAT much of a difference between the 3 versions of graphics cards? I plan on making a 3 monitor system so I was looking at this card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130595 Let me know what you guys think. Thanks. :bananas:

WHat else do you plan on doing with the said card, and what about the rest of the system?

My work schedule is as follows: Mon and Tues 1800 to 0600, Friday - Sunday 1800EST to 0600, and Wednesday to Thursday 1800est to 0600. So if I do not respond right away I am at work.

I plan on gaming a lot but I also want to get into graphic design and possible game creating. I am going to put in the i7-2600k. I was going to wait for the Ivy Bridge But I don't feel like waiting. I also plan on getting an SSD and at least 16 gbs of ram.

In what case would you need a 580 or 590? Also since I am doing a 3 monitor setup should I go 570 SLI? Or will the video card I mentioned accommodate the 3 monitors?

The only time that you should consider a card that is more money is if you can afford it. Being that you are going SSD your budget is already pretty steep.

If you SLI 2 570, that should be faster then a 590.
