Have weird pixelated looking (red and blue) "bugs" on my computer monitor that have been there for over a month. Most of the the time they are stationary, but every once in a while they will flash. I've updated all drivers, tried all anti-virus products and nothing. Below is a screen shot of these bugs. Thanks..

Its to either replace the video card or monitor. Can you try the monitor on another machine with the same cable?

My work schedule is as follows: Mon and Tues 1800 to 0600, Friday - Sunday 1800EST to 0600, and Wednesday to Thursday 1800est to 0600. So if I do not respond right away I am at work.

Thanks for your reply. The video card is not very old and the comp is only about 5 years old. However, at the moment I am not able to try it on another comp.

so we can rule out power issues its either video card or monitor. Try another cable since thats cheapest.

Will do first thing tomorrow. Thanks. If I may ask though, have you seen a problem like this before?
