BleepingComputer.com: Computer no display no beep

So my computer will turn on but there is no beep or display on the moniter . all the fans are working . and have 400 so mb of ram .. Any help?

What are the full specifications of your computer? Did you check to make sure everything was plugged in?

Is this a system that you put together? Is this a new build?

System manufacturer and model, if not a new build?

Check all of your connections. It's not uncommon to get in a rush towards the end of a build only to find out something isn't connected correctly or at all even in some cases. Go over the board step by step as though you're building it for the first time and take your time. Do the normal walk through of making sure the CPU is seated properly, remove RAM and try individually if you're using mutliple sticks, etc.

If everything checks out there then you may want to se if it could possibly be the monitor or a connection.

Also try another monitor if possible and check your VGA, DVI or HDMI connections. VGA is pretty easy to diagnose as it's usually only pins or cable, DVI is a little less forgiving in that there are several types of DVI connectors and that can cause problems. HDMI is less complicated but a little hairier in that the only problem usually is either the connector or the cable but rarely happens on a new build.

Hopefully it's merely something overlooked and easily rectified.
