I remove the framework 2 (just the framework 2 right?) with the removal tool right or through add&remove?

If you still have problems with the framework, I would use the uninstall from the add/remove list to remove.

Reset a new restore point, and remove the framework 2 from the Add/Remove Programs list. Yes, ONLY the framework 2 for now.

How are the programs running now?

I cannot remove framework 2 through Add/Remove list.

I guess beside the framework 2 error, the rest are all fine.

As long as your error's only show up in event viewer, you should be okay. If you like to further refine this, then give the removal tool a try on framework 2 only.

Remember your restore points beforehand. :thumbup2:

Glad to hear everything is going well for you! :clapping:

Happy computing!
