When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

A pop-up with the heading c5.zedo keeps popping up.

I suppose it could just be sent from HTML in one of the websites I visit, but I suspect it is embedded in my computer somewhere. I haven't seen a post about this subject newer than 2009, since when it has probably changed.

I would be grateful for any advice. Thanks in advance for any time you can spare on this.

I think what hamilus means is to post a screenshot of your popup, instructions here:

Make sure you try to catch the popup in your screenshot!

Hope this helps,

Here's the popup. It's just a new browser window.
Maybe it's just a popup ad?

I looked at my Browser configuration (Chrome) and it doesn't allow pop-ups.
